  • 14 days before - no vitamin E, fish oils, or niacin

  • 14 days before - no extensive sun exposure or sunburns

  • 14 days before - no AHA’s or any creams/face washes for exfoliating, anti-aging, tone correcting and fading as they may cause pigment discoloration

APPPOINTMENT DAY

If possible, please attend your Microblading appointment with a cleansed face. A workable surface is key to a successful session.

Please ensure you come to the appointment well hydrated and well fed. The process takes several hours and we want to ensure you're in a state of comfort.

Due to COVID-19 no guests are permitted within the studio, please attend your appointment solo.

AFTER CARE

Keep it SIMPLE...

  • In the first 24 hours, blot the treated area with a tissue frequently to remove lymph.

  • After 24 hours, gently wash the treated area with cold water day and night with a mild, unscented soap. Dry completely.

  • Apply the aftercare cream sparingly 1-2 times per day.

You may shower or bathe normally, but avoid using any soaps or cleansers on the treated area for the first 7 days. Try to aviod excess water and dry completely.

PLEASE AVOID FOR 14 DAYS

  • NO scrubbing, picking, scratching

  • Makeup

  • Shower water

  • Sweating or exercising

  • Swimming, hot sauna, hot bath, jacuzzi

  • Touching the treated area except when cleaning and applying aftercare cream

  • Excess alcohol

  • Dirty places or heavy cleaning where there is lots of airborne debris

  • Sun exposure, tanning beds

Be patient & don't freak out!

The tattooed area will appear to be darker & bolder in color and more sharply defined for the first 7 days.

Minimal scabbing/flaking may take place. DO NOT pick or scratch at the dry skin/flakiness; let the skin fall off naturally. Picking can cause scarring & premature loss of pigment.

The treated area may feel like a sunburn afterwards but there should be minimal discomfort. An ice-pack can relieve any swelling or tenderness.

IMPORTANT: Once the flakes have fallen off, a shiny layer of healing skin will completely cover the hair strokes/freckles.

It will appear as though the eyebrows are gone.

Within 1-2 weeks, the hair strokes will slowly reappear at a lighter shade as your skin regenerates.

Be PATIENT, even if you think too much colour has been lost, your skin is still regenerating and naturally exfoliating.

Wait a min. 4 weeks to see the true color,  it is only after 6 weeks that your touch-up/adjustment can be done.
